You can read without an account. A first party visitor cookie prevents repeated likes and a separate short lived cookie groups page loads into visit sessions. Visitor records contain a random identifier and the recorded visit time. Clearing cookies or using another browser can count as another visit. Like records store a pseudonymous identifier, post and time. Network addresses are hashed with a daily salt for rate limiting; raw addresses are not stored in the likes database. Hosting providers may process request logs to operate and secure the site.

External sharing services apply their own privacy policies when you visit them. No public comments or reader accounts are offered.
